Congratulations to our 33rd Earn and Learn Class!

IMPACCT Academy in Berlin/Littleton Graduates 9, Celebrates Its 13th Cohort of Students
The 13th cohort students graduated from the Berlin Region IMPACCT Academy on Friday, January 7, 2021. The ceremony and celebration were held at the Littleton Opera House, with family, friends, school personnel, and business partners in attendance.
We thank our guest speakers for their kind and inspiring words, Former Board Member of GSIL, Lorna Greer and VR Regional Supervisor for the Berlin Office of NH Department Education, Vocational Rehabilitation, Steven Aylward.
We congratulate the following students for the successful completion of our program and for the educational, professional and personal goals they have set, and we thank the schools, businesses and community for their partnerships: Wade Beaton, White Mountain Regional High School; Shantel Corliss, White Mountain Regional High School; Tegan Durand, White Mountain Regional High School ; Anthony Fox, White Mountain Regional High School; Preston Savage, White Mountain Regional High School; Deklan Sweeney, White Mountain Regional High School; Nathaniel Taylor, Lisbon Regional High School; Noah Tillson, Littleton High School; and Mollie Tyler, White Mountain Regional High School.

IMPACCT Academy in Concord Graduates 9, Celebrates Its 13th Cohort of Students
The 13th cohort of local students graduated from the Concord Region IMPACCT Academy on Thursday, January 14, 2021. The ceremony and celebration were held at Holiday Inn, Concord with family, school personnel, business partners and NH government representatives in attendance and adhering to social distancing requirements.
We congratulate the following students for the successful completion of our program and for the educational, professional and personal goals: Zack Anderson, Hillsboro-Deering High School; Owen Bartlett, Pittsfield High School; Gavriel Bertolino, Hopkinton High School; Dominic Bushnell, Merrimack Valley Learning Center; Tristan Copple, Hopkinton High School; Kyli Desjardins, Hopkinton High School; Ryan Dillon, Kearsarge Regional High School; Gavin Fleming, Kearsarge Regional High School; Brooke Hull, Bow High School, Mason Moran, Kearsarge Regional High School, Jennessa O’Blenes, Pittsfield High School; Joseph Tierney, Hopkinton High School; Gavyn Welch, Kearsarge Regional High School; Caroline Wetherbee, John Stark Regional High School; Kenneth Whipple, Hillsboro-Deering High School.
We would also like to acknowledge the schools, businesses and community partners for making this a truly meaningful experience for our students. A HUGE thank you to the Holiday Inn for providing us with a space to hold our academy, to their maintenance and kitchen staff, especially Chef John Dukette, for allowing students to access hands-on work experience and for offering to provide a sit-down dinner for our students. Graduation in the ballroom atmosphere made graduation a truly special and memorable event for participants! We would also like to thank several local businesses and community partners who presented remotely or in person to our students: NH Federal Credit Union, Breathe NH, CCCNH, NHTI, Multi-Weld, Dave Chase, Jack Manderson, Tom Chalifour-Drahman, Judy Sanderson and Cheryl Pinheiro, GSIL, NHCSDV, Planned Parenthood, Lindt, CVS, and Concord Police Department.
IMPACCT Academy in Manchester Graduates 10, Celebrates Its 13th Cohort of Students
The 13th cohort of local students graduated from the Manchester Region IMPACCT Academy on Thursday, January 21, 2020. The celebration was observed with a drive-through parade, with family and friends in attendance, while school personnel and local business partners contributed short videos.
We congratulate the following students for the successful completion of our program and for the educational, professional, and personal goals they have set, and we thank the schools, businesses, and community for their partnerships: Michael Beede, Manchester Central; Shelby Bellemare, Manchester West; Seth Cillo, Goffstown High School; Meghan Collins, Londonderry High School; Rajah Haith, Manchester Central; Vienne Hynes, Next Charter; Nolan Paquette, Windham High School; Haley Remillard, Londonderry High School; Mason Snow, Manchester West, and Terry Twyman, Next Charter.

Your partnership made this experience incredibly meaningful for our students.

IMPACCT Academy (Inspiring the Mastery of Post-secondary Achievement in College, Career & Training) is partnership of New Hampshire Vocational Rehabilitation (NHVR), Granite State Independent Living (GSIL), and high schools throughout New Hampshire. GSIL helps New Hampshire’s at-risk students with disabilities transition from high school towards a more promising future. We work with local schools and businesses to meet the individual students’ needs, preferences and interests. Students re-engage in their education through Extended Learning Opportunities in a Competency-based Curriculum with soft skills braided throughout and gain a work experience in a field of interest. IMPACCT helps decrease the dropout rate, increase the graduation rate, and serve as an on-ramp for students to their career paths.
