Lisabritt Solsky has made a career in the public interest. A lawyer by trade, she graduated from the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law, an HBCU and public interest law school recognized for the diversity of its student body. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Women’s Studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. After several years working in legal aid in Massachusetts, Lisabritt worked for fifteen years for the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services in a variety of roles including 7 years as the Deputy Medicaid Director. Following that she was the Executive Director for New Hampshire’s largest and only non-profit Medicaid managed care organization during which time she was recognized for leading a Best Company to Work For two years in a row as well as recognition as a top woman non-profit business leader. The time and experience in the Medicaid program reinforced the undeniable link between social determinants of health and health outcomes, especially for the most vulnerable citizens. She is on the Board of Directors for the New Hampshire Public Health Association. She is the proud mom of three teens and lives in Concord with her husband, children, and a menagerie of rescue animals.
