Joined Granite State Independent Living in 2011
Joy is the Vice President of Long -Term Support Services with statewide oversight and management of the consumer directed personal care services; information and referral Services; peer support and mentorship; and nursing home transition services. Joy brings over 30 years of senior leadership experience for the management of a variety of different community-based service and financial models which support adults, children, and their families with mental health, development disabilities, learning disabilities and chronic medical conditions. Joy has worked in MA and NH providing the oversight and clinical development for such services as; educational, residential, employment, clinical treatment home, case management, early supports and services, family support, behavioral and neurological based services, and private school. Joy has served as a member on several non-profit boards, where she currently serves on the board for a charter school, Making Community Connections (MC2).
Joy received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Franklin Pierce College where she was nominated Who’s Who among American Colleges & Universities and the Woman who contributed the most to Franklin Pierce College. She has earned a Master of Business Administration from Plymouth State University with a concentration in Organizational Leadership and Human Resources. Alongside with her MBA, Joy has earned a Black Belt in Lean from NH DHHS.
