Rev. Edward L. Costa
Retired – Resides in Milford, NH.
Reverend Ed Costa is a retired ordained Congregational Chaplain. As a member of the Boscawen Congregational Church, he is still active as a volunteer with various ministries including the Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Rev. Ed has served for twenty-seven years in prison ministry as a part-time volunteer assigned to the chaplain’s office. Rev. Ed’s last full-time assignment before retiring was serving for over two years as the New Hampshire Hospital chaplain.
Early in his career, he enlisted in the Army National Guard and worked fulltime in rotary aviation and general depot maintenance. After serving for eight years, Ed was honorably discharged as a Sergeant First Class E-7. After leaving the US military, Ed began his Informational Technology (IT) career in 1978 selling the first line of Apple computers. As a ComputerLand franchisee in New England he spent over ten years servicing commercial accounts throughout the northeastern US. Working for Hewlett-Packard for twenty-three years, Rev. Ed has been in services, both technical and financial, and business/program management.
Rev. Ed has a BS in Business Management and a MBA in Leadership both from Franklin Pierce University in NH. He also has a Master’s Degree in Divinity from Liberty University Baptist Theological Seminary. Rev. Ed is an active member of the NH Bible Society’s Board of Directors. In 2018, he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and maintains a proactive therapy program.
Rev. Ed resides in Milford, NH with his wife Trudi.
