Director of Information Technology

Granite State Independent Living (GSIL) is seeking a Director of Information Technology to oversee the organization’s information technology department and systems.

The successful candidate will provide direction, supervision, and managerial oversight of all aspects of the organization’s application systems including HR, Finance, Payroll, Customer Service Delivery support system, document management and workflow systems, interfaces, desktop applications, networks, connectivity and security.

Qualifications Include:  

  • Bachelor degree preferably in Computer Science or Business, or bachelor degree in another field with demonstrated technology experience and business understanding.
  • Hands-on experience with a majority of the following: systems, architecture, SQL databases, SharePoint, coding with a strong focus on information management and reporting.
  • Knowledge of security issues and resourcefulness to address needs.
  • Experience with managing selection of and implementing new software systems, managing scope, schedule, budget, stakeholder expectations, risks, integration issues, including deployment of an application system.

Accessible Van Drivers

Granite State Independent Living (GSIL) seeks part time drivers in the Concord Area to join its team. This position provides transportation services to persons with disabilities via wheelchair accessible vehicles to social activities, non-emergency medical appointments, meetings and events. Day, evening and weekend hours may be required. Company paid training. NH driver’s license, good driving record, USDOT Medical Card and criminal background check required. Experience driving a commercial vehicle preferred.

Attendant Care Worker - FLOATER POSITIONS – If you are an experienced, dedicated Personal Care Attendant looking for a full time, benefits eligible position, Granite State Independent Living is now hiring! We continue to grow and currently have four full time Floater Positions:

Southern NH – Sullivan & Cheshire County - Tues-Thursday; 10am-6pm
Southern NH - Concord/Manchester, south - Sun-Thursday; 9am-5pm
Seacoast and Lakes Region - Tues-Thursday; 11am-7pm
North Country – Grafton County - Littleton to Plymouth- Thurs – Mon; flexible hours

GSIL Floaters provide necessary coverage (for vacation days, sick days and call outs) assisting with non-medical personal care, meal prep and homemaking in our consumers’ homes.

Qualifications Include:
• 2 years PCA experience preferably LNA or CNA
• Transfer devices and medical equipment experience.
• Dependable with good organizational and interpersonal skills
• Must possess a reliable vehicle with insurance

Long Term Support Service Coordinator – Southwestern NH

Granite State Independent Living (GSIL) is looking for a dynamic and energetic full time Service Coordinator. GSIL is a home care and community-based organization dedicated to maximizing independence for adults with physical disabilities and chronic health care needs. This person will provide intake and orientation to new consumers of the assigned personal care program, assuring ongoing individualized support to consumers assigned. Teach and provide skills training to consumers on how to direct their own care and provide training as needed to the care attendants. Develop and adjust consumer’s care plans to ensure personal care needs are being met in accordance with GSIL policy and procedures. Assist in outreach efforts. Serve as community resource on personal care options through GSIL as needed.

Qualifications Include:  A minimum of two years’ experience working with persons with disabilities and/or health care needs required. LPN or LNA preferred. Must have effective communication and teaching skills and a commitment to facilitating and maximizing independence for persons with chronic health care needs. Provide on-call coverage for the personal care program as needed, and travel as directed to support consumers.

Registered Nurse:  Concord/Lakes Region

Granite State Independent Living (GSIL) is looking for a dynamic and energetic Registered Nurse to join its team. GSIL is a home care and community-based organization dedicated to maximizing independence for adults with physical disabilities and chronic health care needs.

Qualifications Include:  The qualified candidate must be a Registered Nurse with a current New Hampshire License. Must have a strong value in supporting consumer direction. This position is flexible, no weekends or holidays with a competitive salary. Must have a valid NH driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for daily use.

Direct Support Provider (Community Support Specialist)

GSIL is seeking a dependable individual to work a part-time position (15-18 hours/week) assisting adults experiencing developmental disabilities as they work and participate in community activities in the Manchester area. 

Qualifications include:  Access to reliable, insured  vehicle in order to provide transportation to individuals being served.  Have a clean criminal and driving record.  Possess an ability to interact effectively with participants and work independently on assigned tasks.
