Human Resources Administrative Assistant
Granite State Independent Living (GSIL) is seeking a dynamic and energetic Human Resources Assistant to join its team. Primary duties of this position include: first point of contact for employees as well as throughout their employment this including new hire onboarding, responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of employment related records; entering and updating personnel information into HRIS system; gathering required documentation to process separations from employment and provide assistance and back up to other HR staff in various HR functions as needed.
Qualifications include: Successful candidate will be able to demonstrate competency in: planning & organizing; multi-tasking; effective oral and written communication; attention to detail; solid technology and computer skills; proven competency with all Microsoft Office programs and data management systems. Knowledge of current Human Resources practices a plus. Should be able to work with minimal supervision both independently and in a team setting.
Direct Support Provider (Community Support Specialist) Qualifications include:
GSIL is seeking a dependable individual to work a part-time position (15-18 hours/week) assisting adults experiencing developmental disabilities as they work and participate in community activities in the Manchester area.
Access to reliable, insured vehicle in order to provide transportation to individuals being served. Have a clean criminal and driving record. Possess an ability to interact effectively with participants and work independently on assigned tasks.
Home Care Relief Specialist
GSIL is seeking two ambitious and flexible individuals to fill the position of Home Care Relief Specialist. One position will service the southern NH area and a second will service northern NH.
This person will provide direct care services, such as personal care needs and homemaking duties, for any open shifts, as needed, on an On-Call basis. These services are provided in the consumer’s home and travel is required. In addition to duties performed in the consumer’s home, the Relief Specialist will be required to perform some in office duties, such as filing, scanning, and other clerical duties at the directive of the Home Care Manager.
- The work schedule is currently set as Friday through Tuesday – weekends are required for this position
- Must possess a reliable vehicle, meeting GSIL insurance and safe driving record requirements. Travel is required up to 1.5 hour one way.
- Provide On-Call coverage, which is defined as the ability to cover open shifts, as needed, during the on call rotation.
Qualifications include: LNA or CNA experience preferred. Experienced in an array of transfer devices and durable medical equipment. Experience and comfort in supporting persons with physical, cognitive, and/or mental disabilities. Must have a reliable mobile phone and vehicle. Must possess a minimum of 2 years personal care & home making experience.
Director of Compliance and Quality
Granite State Independent Living (GSIL) is seeking a dynamic and energetic Director of Compliance and Quality to join its team. This position develops, implements, and monitors compliance organization wide, as well as quality improvement systems and is integral in overseeing the managed care program by providing technical assistance and leadership to ensure all regulatory requirements are being met and that consumers are receiving the highest quality of care. Qualifications include:
Preferably the successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse with Two years’ of experience in compliance and quality initiatives including regulatory assurance systems, technology and data collection system responsibilities. Medicaid/Medicare, clinical and/or homecare experience is required. Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office software, data management skills and effective verbal and written communication. Is able to demonstrate competency in planning and organizing; the ability to multi-task and attention to detail.
Registered Nurse (Full Time - Concord/Southern NH area)
Granite State Independent Living (GSIL) is looking for a dynamic and energetic Registered Nurse to join its team. Responsibilities include: Provide assessment, evaluation, planning, and community support of assigned Long Term Support program services. Teach and provide skills training to care attendants and skills training to consumers on how to direct their own care. Review consumer’s care plans to ensure attendant care needs are being met and adjust as needed. Qualifications include:
Registered Nurse with current New Hampshire License and two years of experience working with individuals with long term health care needs. Must have effective communications and teaching skills and a commitment to facilitating and maximizing independence for persons with chronic health care needs. Must have a valid NH driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for daily use.
Vice President of Resource Development (Full Time - Concord)
Granite State Independent Living (GSIL is seeking a dynamic and energetic Vice President of Resource Development to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the direction, management and overall realization of GSIL’s revenue diversification. Responsibilities include: development (individual & corporate), fundraising and fundraising events, grant applications, and extensive external business/relationship development throughout the state.
Qualifications include: Seven years progressive senior management experience in public relations/ communications/ development in the non-profit human services sector as well as experience and a proven track record in planned giving. Preferably has been awarded grants in excess of $100,000 as well as increasing donors and in turn donation revenue (from individuals, and corporations). Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and supervise multiple events and fund raising activities. Ability to work positively with internal and external constituents and communicate effectively. Strong interpersonal skills essential. Excellent oral and written communication skills including grant writing and presentation skills. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public relations, Marketing or other related field or in combination with appropriate experience.
