Provide administrative support to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT- senior management team), primarily to the CEO and be responsible for the front office (reception area), including supervising receptionists.

Qualifications Include:

Three years of experience as an administrative assistant or similar position. Experience supervising is preferred. Strong administrative skills to improve efficiency of individuals that this position supports. Ability to plan, organize, and move forward multiple projects. Strong interpersonal skills essential. Home Care Scheduling Coordinator

Granite State Independent Living is seeking a Home Care Scheduling Coordinator. This role will be responsible to meet the overall scheduling of Care Attendants for service coverage and Homecare Support needs such as human resource assistant support, recruitment and training support and administrative support needs.  The specific duties include, but are not limited to: managing the Care Attendant scheduling of shifts; recruitment assistance for prospective attendant care workers, coordination of interviewing candidates, training and orientation support for Care Attendants, ensuring employment documentation is complete and accurate, and  payroll and software scheduling.  

Qualifications Include:

Must have at a minimum one year of human resource / recruitment experience and a minimum of 3 years office experience necessary. Must have demonstrated competency in: planning & organizing; ability to multi-task; effective oral and written communication; excellent attention to detail; proficient with word processing and data management systems. Should be able to work with minimal supervision both independently and in a team setting. Must possess strong interpersonal skills, customer service skills and ability positively reflect services. Personal experience with disability preferred.

Transition Coordinator

Granite State Independent Living is seeking a full-time Transition Coordinator to join its Manchester team. We are seeking a dedicated individual that has a passion for providing learning opportunities and transition services to at-risk youth with disabilities, so they can develop necessary career and independent living skills.

Responsibilities include:
  • Recruiting youth for program services
  • Conducting intakes, assessing needs and creating individualized learning plans
  • Coordinating educational programs and services with parents, schools, students, community organizations and employers
  • Facilitating the earning of academic credits through extended learning opportunities (ELO’s)
  • Setting up work experiences for students enrolled in the program


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Counseling or other related field.
  • 1-3 Years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Reliable personal transportation is required for transporting students

    Drivers:  Part-time (On Call)

    Granite State Independent Living (GSIL) seeks part time – on call drivers in the Concord Area to join its team.  These positions include transporting persons with disabilities via wheelchair accessible vehicles to social activities, meetings and events. Day, evening and weekend hours may be required.  Pay starting at $10.00/hr. Company paid training.  NH driver’s license, good driving record, USDOT Medical Card and criminal background check required. Experience driving a commercial vehicle preferred.

    GSIL is seeking a dependable individual to work a part-time position (15-18 hours/week) assisting adults experiencing developmental disabilities as they work and participate in community activities in the Manchester area.
