Granite State Independent Living (GSIL) is seeking a knowledgeable and talented Programmer to join its team. This individual will maintain and enhance existing business applications and provide technical assistance to a user base of approximately 90 users. Experience with SharePoint is a plus. Primary responsibility will be to maintain and enhance an existing ASP.NET web application and a C#/ .NET WinForms application, both based on a SQL Server database. Must be able to interpret user requests into acceptable technical solutions. Must be able to work independently. Additional responsibilities will include responding to general user help desk requests as needed.
• BS degree in a computer programming discipline or equivalent work experience.
• 3-plus years programming with ASP.NET, WinForms and SQL Server.
• Strong relational database programming experience.
• Production work experience with Windows-based applications.
• Experience with Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server.
• Hands on experience enhancing and maintaining an existing code base.
• Experience with SharePoint is a plus.
• Experience supporting an end-user client base with diverse technical skills.

Direct Support Provider (Community Support Specialist) Qualifications include:
GSIL is seeking a dependable individual to work a part-time position (15-18 hours/week) assisting adults experiencing developmental disabilities as they work and participate in community activities in the Manchester area.
Access to reliable, insured vehicle in order to provide transportation to individuals being served. Have a clean criminal and driving record. Possess an ability to interact effectively with participants and work independently on assigned tasks.
Director of Compliance and Quality
Granite State Independent Living (GSIL) is seeking a dynamic and energetic Director of Compliance, Quality and Managed Care to join its team. This position develops, implements, and monitors compliance throughout the organization, as well as quality improvement systems. This individual will represent GSIL as the liaison to the State and Managed Care organizations which includes: communication, coordination and problem solving business processes as the primary focus of this position. This individual will also provide leadership to ensure all regulatory requirements are being met, business processes become more efficient and that consumers are receiving the highest quality of care. Qualifications include:
Preferably the successful candidate will have two years of experience working with one or more of these areas: Medicaid/Medicare, Managed Care, Compliance, Regulatory System and Quality. Individuals should be very organized and detailed oriented to write polices/reports, as well as to communicate details about complex eligible and payment situations to stakeholders. Clinical, administrative or business experience in homecare or healthcare would be helpful. RNs with this experience would be highly desirable but not required. Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office software, data management skills and effective verbal and written communication.
Vice President of Resource Development (Full Time - Concord)
Granite State Independent Living (GSIL is seeking a dynamic and energetic Vice President of Resource Development to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the direction, management and overall realization of GSIL’s revenue diversification. Responsibilities include: development (individual & corporate), fundraising and fundraising events, grant applications, and extensive external business/relationship development throughout the state.
Qualifications include: Seven years progressive senior management experience in public relations/ communications/ development in the non-profit human services sector as well as experience and a proven track record in planned giving. Preferably has been awarded grants in excess of $100,000 as well as increasing donors and in turn donation revenue (from individuals, and corporations). Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and supervise multiple events and fund raising activities. Ability to work positively with internal and external constituents and communicate effectively. Strong interpersonal skills essential. Excellent oral and written communication skills including grant writing and presentation skills. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public relations, Marketing or other related field or in combination with appropriate experience.
