NHNSCIA & NEHSA Enjoy Lake Sunapee
Mark Race, NHNSCIA, prepares to tour Lake Sunapee
NHNSCIA members joined New England Handicapped Sports Association (NEHSA) on Saturday, August 28 for a day of fun in the sun at Lake Sunapee State Beach. Members met at the beach and went kayaking, tubing, boating and swimming in NEHSA’s adaptive equipment. To learn more about NEHSA, visit http://nehsa.org.
NHNSCIA became a program of GSIL in 2008. In the last 24 months, NHNSCIA has grown by 300%, serving more than 130 individuals with spinal cord injuries annually. For more information on NHNSCIA, click here.

Founded in 1980, Granite State Independent Living (GSIL) is a statewide nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote life with independence for people with disabilities and those experiencing the natural process of aging through advocacy, information, education and support.
