We can make your life easier by providing compassionate home care so you or your loved one can enjoy aging in place in the comfort of home.
Our new Home Care Service Provider Program (HCSP) provides an option for those individuals who prefer not to direct their own care, or are unable to, under the consumer-directed approach. Through this new agency-directed program, GSIL hires, trains and supervises the caregivers that we provide to assist seniors and individuals with long-term care needs in their homes.
Our Home Care option provides non-medical Home Care - Personal Care Service Provider (HC-PCSP) and Homemaker (HC-HMKR) services to you, or your loved one, to enable you to remain in your community and enjoy your home. Our compassionate caregivers work with you to provide the following services:
• Personal Care including: bathing, grooming, dressing, assist with mobility and transfers, etc.
• Meal planning and preparation
• Housekeeping
• Errands
• Grocery shopping
• Companionship and Respite
Home Care is available seven days a week, day or night, weekends and even holidays (as staffing allows).
Cost
Our new Home Care option has a cost effective, highly competitive hourly rate if you choose to pay privately. We also accept: long-term care health insurance, HCBC/CFI waiver through NH Medicaid and benefits from the Veterans Administration. With more options to come in the future.

Our caregivers
Our caregivers are interviewed and carefully screened (criminal checks and Bureau of Elderly and Adult Services Abuse Registry check). They are trained in accordance with state regulations and receive tuberculosis (TB) tests, and physical exams. Additionally GSIL provides ongoing training programs for all caregivers.

About us: Granite State Independent Living (GSIL) is a statewide organization with more than 30 years experience working with individuals with disabilities and seniors. We are not a franchise, but a locally managed nonprofit who is the largest employer of personal care attendants in the state. Our Home Care program is run by an on-staff registered nurse to ensure the highest quality service. When you work with GSIL, you will see that exceeding your home care needs is our top priority. We will give you the peace of mind your family deserve. Our on-staff registered nurse will work closely with you to create a custom comprehensive care plan tailored to you and your loved one’s needs.
