Personal Care Disability
Do you or someone you know need help getting ready for the day, assistance at home, or accessing the community? If you are looking to live as independently as you choose, Granite State Independent Living has personal care disability services available seven days a week, day or night, weekends and holidays. We provide a wide variety of home care services, and you choose how your care is managed.
Our personal care programs (Personal Care Attendant (PCA) Program and Personal Care Services Provider (PCSP) Program) afford you the ability to live safely in your own home and community. This option provides the quality of life you choose instead of a life that is prescribed for you. Would you like the peace of mind knowing that you or your loved one is being assisted by a compassionate and trained personal care provider?
GSIL, the only Center for Independent Living in New Hampshire, is the place to turn for resources that support people with disabilities, so they can maintain their well-being and independence. Led by a board of directors and staff of which over 51% are people with disabilities, we are guided by the principle that people with disabilities belong in the driver’s seat.
Our personal care services provide non-medical hands-on assistance with activities of daily life.
Some of our services include, but are not limited to:
- Respite Care
- Grocery Shopping & Errands
- Meal Planning, Preparation & Cooking
- Live-In Options
- Personal Hygiene
