Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services

If you are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, Granite State Independent Living Deaf Services coordinators can provide information on the latest communication technology, advocacy opportunities, independent living skills, and social activities.

By using these services, you can learn how to advocate for your individual access needs, better understand communication barriers, and increase your independence, assertiveness and self-esteem.

Granite State Independent Living helps the public develop a greater understanding of the laws that provide Deaf and Hard of Hearing community members with access to communication services through programs, activities, and advocacy.

Granite State Independent Living provides interpreter referral for American Sign Language as well as CART Provider referrals.
