Outreach Coordinator
Seeking enthusiastic individual to provide service coordination as well as outreach & networking support for Granite State Independent Living Personal Care Attendant Programs such as our private pay and home care programs. Successful candidate will be involved in organizing & conducting GSIL community activities, & education; plus speak to community, business & civic groups about GSIL & disability awareness. Serve as information and educational resource for community and staff on personal care options, community supports and health and disability related issues. Duties include: develop effective presentations & displays, participate in various expos & events, & coordinate w/other disability related organizations. Qualifications: RN with current NH license and/or clinical experience with at least 2 years of working with people with disabilities or other chronic healthcare conditions. Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills, able to work independently & knowledge of disability issues. Personal experience with a disability preferred. Software Engineer
Talented, patient and personable Software Engineer sought to join the GSIL Information Systems Department. Successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical ability, work well in a team environment and be able to function independently. Must have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, best practices, and procedures within the software development industry correlating to the needs of the organization. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server database and development tools including T-SQL, TFS, .NET Framework, ASP.NET Webforms, MS InfoPath, VisualStudio, SharePoint Services, AJAX. Familiarity with MIP financial software a plus. Solid interpersonal skills to communicate well with staff and vendors and demonstrated competency in prioritizing multiple problems and tasks essential. Commitment to the mission of GSIL. Minimum of an Associates Degree in a related area and 2 – 4 years of experience in the field. Position is full time ( 37.5hrs./wk) with competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Drivers: Part Time – On-Call
Granite State Independent Living seeks part time, on-call drivers to join its team. These positions include transporting persons with disabilities via wheelchair accessible vehicles to social activities, meetings and events. Day, evening and weekend hours available. Pay starting at $10.00/hr. Company paid training. NH driver’s license, good driving record, and criminal background check required. Experience driving a commercial vehicle preferred.
