Nominations for the ADA 20th Anniversary Awards Sought

Nominate those who have helped advance the ADA
The NH Governor’s Commission on Disability, in partnership with The NH ADA Coalition, NH Dept of Transportation, Granite State Independent Living, and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society - Greater New England Chapter is pleased to request submission of nominees for its ADA 20th Anniversary Awards Program.
In honor and celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act by President George Herbert Walker Bush on July 26th, 1990, the Governor’s Commission on Disability has initiated the Awards Program to recognize individuals or organizations that have substantially contributed to the implementation of the ADA regulations while championing and advocating for the disability community.
- Three (3) to five (5) awards will be presented to individuals or organizations that have shown exemplary dedication to advancing the intent and goals of the ADA.
- Nominations for ADA Awards can be submitted by any individual or organization who wishes to recognize a worthy candidate.
- Nominations will be judged and winners selected by independent reputable judges.
Awards presentations will be made on July 23rd, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the ADA 20th Anniversary Celebration being held at the Department Of Transportation Auditorium, 7 Hazen Drive, Concord, NH.
The deadline for submitting nominations will be July 9th, 2010.
