June 23, 2010

Granite State Independent Living and the Manchester School District SAU #37 received a grant from the Walker Fund, NH Charitable Foundation, to support the establishment of Extended Learning Opportunities (ELOs) into the core academic areas such as; English, mathematics and science. The goal is to re-engage students with disabilities who are at a risk of dropping out through vocationally focused activities that can bring both academic credit and increased career awareness during the summer months.
