GSIL participates in Social Media Boot Camp

Granite State Independent Living participated in a panel discussion at the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce Social Media Boot Camp (#GCCCSMBC) on November 4, 2009.
The panel included; Meg Heckman of the Concord Monitor, Steve Varnum of the NH Community Loan Fund and Jeff Feingold, editor of NHBR and myself, the communications manager at GSIL.
Meg spoke of the Monitor’s future plans, Steve discussed his organizations carefully planned break into program blogging and Jeff discussed the hip new NHBRnetwork.
On behalf of GSIL, I discussed the importance of maintaining accessibility as this new communication tool moves forward at what seems like the speed of light.
The panel discussion was in addition to speakers John McCrory (@johnmccrory), Michael DelloIacono (@jmazedesign), Jayme Simoes (@karnotrippicks) and @millennium_ and Ken Steinberg (@kdstonehill).
#GCCCCSMBC (for those of you following on Twitter) was an insightful, informative conversation about the ever changing world of social media.
