Nonprofit agency expands its office in Elm City
KEENE — Granite State Independent Living’s Keene office has expanded.
The Concord-based nonprofit organization — which promotes independent living for seniors and the disabled — recently hired two additional employees to staff its office.
The Emerald Street office previously had just one employee, according to Debora L. Krider, Independent Living’s chief operating officer.
Krider said the expansion was made to meet a higher demand for Independent Living’s services.
“There’s more need as individuals are aging,” she said.
“We’re having more inquires about our services.”
Independent Living also has offices in Littleton, Manchester, Nashua and Dover.
