Through NH at Work, Granite State Independent Living (GSIL) is taking a more holistic approach to helping NH citizens and business build better foundations for success.
Granite State Independent Living believes that New Hampshire works best when New Hampshire's at work for you and you're at work for New Hampshire. NH at Work is a GSIL led movement to create access to economic opportunities for NH citizens with disabilities and NH businesses employing diverse workforces. The success of every NH citizen is only improved by the success of our neighbors and communities.
GSIL provides a wide array of economic development services, creating access to tools, resources and opportunities to increase your income no matter what your life stage or circumstance is.
• We work with NH job seekers, adults and students, to further develop their professional skills, gain valuable work experience, and get employment to make progress along their career path.
• We work with NH employers to help them maximize the productivity and value of employing a diverse workforce
• We assist NH students in achieving high school credits through extended learning opportunities (ELO's), so they can graduate and take the next step with their education and career paths
• We provide financial planning services to help you make the most of any government benefits you may receive as assistance for going to work and increasing your income
• We can help connect you to the best NH resources to start and/or grow your own NH small business and guide you on a path to economic success
Understanding economic development, means understanding that we can't do it alone, so we work collaboratively with several partners throughout NH to connect you with the resources you need for every step of your progress.
